From an early age, Audrey strove to achieve freedom through knowledge. She knew that knowledge and education would open many doors and get her the kind of true independence she craved. So she put aside the dreams society said girls should have and immersed herself in learning. Once she had degrees and money, she figured she would have time to build a solid network of friends and a social life.
The zombies came and changed her plans a little. Adapting to the situation very quickly, she managed to survive longer than most jocks. However, Audrey soon realized than wisdom, rather than academic lore, was the key. She has joined a group of survivors and, while sounding cynical most of the time, secretly enjoys using her knowledge for the benefit of the team.
